I loved this place - good beer, great atmosphere - the night we were there a group of musicians were sitting around one of the tables playing traditional music. (I cannot tell a lie - the reason we were there was because one of the people we were with knew the fiddle player).
Friendly and inexpensive place to go for a few beers.
Re: the following questions - we never did get a table, because the place was rammed. That's what happens in good pubs.
Accidentally stumbled in here while on holiday with our kids. Quaint pub for locals with a good selection of drafts, a proper pour of Guinness, and a nice fire. Bartender wasn't having any GAA convo, but was otherwise pleasant. Prob wouldn't recommend bringing the kids, but otherwise a pleasant experience.
What an inviting space. We loved it there. Mike thank you for your kind welcomes and Lucy is a gem! We came in March and it was snowing/hailing/raining but just a wonderful experience. Come to America again Mike to Florida and stay with us for a nice holiday! Thank you again.
